Gray/Grey Go Away

Charlotte is bracing for a wintry mix and it has been cold and ugly outside all day.  Everyone is rushing home to settle in for the night.  As I sit looking out the window, I just want to curl up on my comfy couch with a blanket and sleep the rest of the day away.  But then again, gray is a neutral color and neutrals such as brown, white, and gray, tend to make people feel tranquil right.

I started thinking, on days like this I wish I had a pick-me-up room full of bright vibrant colors like orange, pink, yellow or even red.  A room I could go in and instantly perk up my mood regardless of the weather.  So, to all my neutrals out there, let’s shake things up.  Instead of painting a room orange (don’t jump in the deep end, take it slow), maybe add a pop of color to your space with colorful orange pillows or other bright colored accessories and bring out that inner exciting spirit. Maybe next year you will be ready for that bright orange accent wall!

  1. This is a great idea. I prefer all my spaces to have some sort of color. It just makes the room(s) feel better!

An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a coworker who had been doing a little homework on this. And he actually ordered me breakfast simply because I stumbled upon it for him… lol. So let me reword this…. Thank YOU for the meal!! But yeah, thanks for spending the time to discuss this topic here on your web page.
